🪁 Is Diablo 2 Co Op

Diablo 2 remaster won't support local couch co-op or cross-play The new Diablo II remaster won't have modern features like couch co-op play on PC or consoles, nor does it have In Diablo 2: Resurrected you can fight cooperatively against monsters as well as let your characters compete against each other in PvP. Unlike in Diablo 3, however, couch co-op with split screen is not supported. Multiplayer on PC On the PC, the multiplayer is organized in lobbies, as in the 20-year-old original. Diablo 2 was very much meant for multiplayer. And of course, Diablo 3 strengthened that even more, and solidified it with Couch co-op for all consoles, up to 4 players, with a camera that allows people to play both melee and ranged. Diablo 2 is not exempt from this. A zooming in/out camera is not new tech. So there's no reason this game that is designed to suit the present generation to not adopt the local coop feature! I really hope Blizzard implements it soon or add it to development backlog after beta/release. See you all in Hell! EDIT: It was pointed that the biggest problem is the UI. Indeed, fans must go through Blizzard's servers in order to join up with a friend, and that may be slightly disappointing to players that were looking for a couch co-op game. Diablo II: Resurrected is a remastered version of the quintessential action RPG Diablo® II. Pursue the mysterious Dark Wanderer and fight the denizens of hell as you uncover the fate of the 3JeeQO.
